1. Introduction

NexFlow (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is a personal expense and income tracker. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed, how it is stored, and which third-party services are involved.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

We do not operate our own servers that receive your financial transactions.


3. Information we do not collect directly

The App does not require you to create an account and does not directly collect:

  • Your name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Postal address

  • GPS location

  • Contacts

We do not sell or rent your personal data.


4. Data stored on your device

The following information is stored locally on your phone or tablet (database and app preferences):

  • Transactions (expenses and income), including amount, date, category, and notes

  • App preferences: language, currency, theme, discrete mode, daily reminder, monthly budget

  • Onboarding and settings state

  • Optional PIN: if you enable app lock, a salted hash is stored; we do not store your PIN in plain text

This data is not synced to the developer’s servers. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data may delete this information (except where Android or Google device backup applies).

Deletion: you can remove all app data at any time using “Reset All Data” in Settings.


5. Receipt scanning (camera and text recognition)

If you use receipt scanning:

  • The App may request camera permission or access to an image you select from your gallery.

  • Text recognition uses Google ML Kit on your device to read amounts and other text from receipts.

  • Images and recognized text are not sent to EFinder or NexFlow servers.

  • Google’s own policies may also apply: Google Privacy Policy.


6. Report export (PDF and CSV)

You can export your data as PDF or CSV. Files are created on your device and only leave your device if you save, send, or share them (for example by email or cloud storage). We do not receive those files.


7. Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, the App schedules local notifications on your device. We do not use notifications to send third-party marketing unrelated to the App’s features.


8. Advertising and consent (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads through Google AdMob, including:

  • Banner ads (shown at the bottom of certain screens)

  • Rewarded ads (optional video ads, for example after exporting a PDF)

Google and its partners may collect and use data under their own policies, such as:

  • Advertising ID

  • Device type, operating system version, and language

  • Ad interactions (impressions, clicks)

  • Approximate IP address

  • Data needed for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization, depending on your region and consent choices

NexFlow / EFinder does not access, control, or store this ad data on our own servers.

Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area), the App may show an advertising consent form (Google User Messaging Platform). You can review or change your choices in the App under Settings → Ad privacy & consent.

9. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services that may process data under their own privacy policies:

We do not control how these providers process data outside the App.

The App requires Internet access mainly to load and display advertisements.


10. Data security

  • Your financial data remains on your device.

  • An optional PIN is stored as a salted hash, not in plain text.

  • You are responsible for securing your device (system lock screen, not sharing your PIN, etc.).

No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.


11. System backups

Android may include App data in device or Google account backups, depending on your settings. Those backups are managed by the operating system or Google, not directly by EFinder.


12. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through third-party services linked to the App, please contact us.


13. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or certain U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data.

In practice, we do not host your transaction data on our servers. The main way to control your data is to delete it in the App (Settings → Reset All Data) or uninstall the App.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at the same web address and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
